Dear Karmann Ghia Friends,
in 1961 the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Type 34, called "razor edge", has been introduced to the public.
After the Type 14-anniversary in 2005, which still brings back great memories, we also want to give the Type 34 an appropriate anniversary setting.
We invite all owners of Type 34, Type 14 and Karmann TC to come back to Georgsmarienhütte (near Osnabrück, where the Karmann factory is located) in 2011. Our goal for the 50th birthday of course is to bring together at least 50 Type 34 and beat the record of 48 razor edges from 2005. Of course there will be no upper limit...
So please highlight August 11 to 14 in your 2011 calendar - this will be the last birthday anniversary for quite a while.
We will update this website regularly within the next months, so please check in here once in a while. Registering will be possible soon. The participation numbers 1...100 will be reserved for the Type 34s...
