Hi everyone, i'm just about to start a restoration on my new 68 type 34, it looks ok on the photo but it's far from it. I've got some sill panels on the way from the type 3 detectives but it looks like i'll be fabricating the rear arch's from scratch. When the car was being transported the right hand side rear pop out came out and was lost, any help in locating one would be fantasic, many thanks.

G'day, and welcome to the site. I hope you find it useful. Looks like you got your work cut out there, but then - what UK resto doesn't come with a ton of work?? Looks like a similar amount of work to my Type 34. If you haven't already joined up - the Type 34 Registry - type34.org is a great resource for Type 34 info - make sure you also join up the mailing list too - it's pretty active and probably one of the best places to try and source stuff from. You might want to try Lars Nueffer, or Karmannghia.de for the rear arches - I bought a pair a few years back. They're repro, not OG, but the quality is excellent. There was someone breaking a T34 recently - check the registry forums - they may have the glass you need - the popouts are not usually something that get snapped up too quickly. Good luck with the resto and be sure to post lots of pics / blog posts etc
So you gonna have it ready for the 50th anniversary of the Type 34 next year??
