I started a photo album for all VW toys, but thought we should start a thread on one where people can show there collection or there favourite or new ones coming out. Might also be a good place to give people a heads up on them as so often the VW toys sell out in the stores and are sold on ebay etc for more (just like flippers in small scale)

Anyway, here are a couple I already uploaded.

I don't have the biggest collection but will take a photo of them all together.

Here's a shot of the shelf in my home office. With the exception of the razor, the other items have been given to me as gifts. The 23 window scale model is awesome, and originally sat on a diorama with a perspex cover, but over time this went cloudy. Unfortunately it was damaged when we were burgled (rolled off of the shelf on to the floor), so now looks a little sorry.

We also have a bit of a collection of matchbox VW's, but these are all packed up somewhere to stop my son from chewing the packaging. Have never managed to find a splitty tho.

Heres one I found yesterday. 1951 Cabriolet. It's 1:18 scale. I took the photos next to the a 1:24 scale car and a 1:64 matchbox side one to give an idea of size.

It was $20 (Bargain) and at toys R us (down at Noralunga). There was a couple more still there.

Locke got given a very nice bay window at the xmas BBQ - within 2 minutes he had snapped the bumper and managed to chew off one of the tyres

My collection is pretty large and has loads of different stuff in other than toys like tapes on how to sell a volkswagens, watches, stickers and loads more. 

Here is a picture of a cool remote control car that summa found in a toy shop here.  It is going to be staying in the shop as it is $350.00, plus i do already have a beetle remote control car LOL not as cool as this one tho will try find a photo of it for you.

I really should post a pic of my whole collection, its not a patch on matt's but still.

Wow $350 - that's a lot of cash. Could probably buy a real bug for that much.

so i got some new toys :)

that original red variation of bumble bee is rad. I had both yellow and red as a child.

Yeah i was happy with it, i also have the yellow one in my collection.  Summa said she also seen a gold one but you had to buy a set hmmm maybe next trip to port adealide.

Found a picture of my rc car, havent had it out for many years.  I also have a kids vw pedal car, and a kids rocking car :)

OOOOOH, been looking for one of those pedal cars. is it the steel one?
